Team bonding day takes White staff out of their comfort zone!

White recently had a team building and moral boosting day and we did this by spending time away from the dental environment to get to know each other better and work as team. As a practice that prides itself on the care it gives to our nervous patients White decided it was time to take the staff out of their comfort zone for a day! All the staff attended Thorpe Park for a day and decided that it was time to embrace some scary rides and the day saw many of us experiencing thrills that we wouldn’t have dreamt of.

At White we feel it is essential that we work together as a team so that we can continue to maintain our helpful and friendly environment and reliable service for our patients. Despite being a small team we are always happy to welcome new patients into the practice.

Local Hamble lady smiles confidently after having dental implants

A Hamble lady attended White as a new patient as she was concerned with her missing teeth. As a local lady she had seen us in the village and hoped we would be able to help her out. Not only was she having problems with eating and her speech but as a teacher she was often asked by students why her teeth were so gappy!

After her consultation with Dr White, we assured her that we were able to help. Various treatment plans were drawn up for her to look at and she was encouraged that the best treatment would be to have Dental Implants. These are the most natural way to restore teeth and would provide function and help fill the gaps. The patient was keen to go ahead with treatment and she now has a smile that she is proud of! The only question people ask now is where she had her treatment carried out as her smile looks great!!

Fun and informative routine dental visits for children

On Thursday 29th October 09 we held our 3rd “Open Wide Day” at White. These days are for under 16’s and are a fun and informative day for our younger patients. On previous days we have had face painters but this time “Clown Bluey” came to join in the fun. Bluey made some amazing balloons ranging from aliens and penguins to a tyrannosaurus rex! Amongst the excitement there are quizzes, colouring and a goodie bag to take home.

We have had some excellent feedback from the parents who say the children really enjoy the “Open Wide Day” and find it fun to visit the dentist. Our next “Open Wide Day” is booked for April which is almost fully booked already!
