White continued professional development for dental implants

Lisa and Beccie have recently been on a dental implant course for nurses which was an excellent way to introduce Beccie to implant treatment. Beccie is new to the practice and has nursed for several years but has never had the opportunity to carry out implant treatment until now. For Lisa it was a good way to keep up to date with any required changes in the procedures we follow. At White we are very committed to continuing professional development so our patients can feel confident that we are providing excellent treatment and care.

We have recently seen a patient for a Free Consultation, he wanted our help to replace a missing front tooth. The patient was involved in an accident several years ago and has had enough of his bridge falling out, he didn’t want a denture. We have placed the dental implant and very soon he will have a natural looking crown and no more worries about his bridge falling out in public!

Tooth whitening deals at White Wedding Fayre

We have recently attended our first wedding fayre to promote Zoom Advanced Power Whitening. We carry out a lot of tooth whitening treatments and are frequently asked about it, particularly from patients that wish to have brighter smiles for their wedding. Planning a wedding can be stressful at times so we will start attending more fayre’s making it easier for patients to find us, meet our friendly team and take advantage of some great deals. Most of our patients were aware that our dental nurse, Lisa, got married on 23rd April in Lyndhurst. It was a wonderful day and she looked stunning, the weather was also fantastic which made the day even better. There are some great pictures which show off her lovely smile, thanks to Ben’s orthodontic skills. Not only was it a good day for Lisa and Darren but it was also a good opportunity for us all to socialise outside of work.

A comfortable lower denture for a Calmore gentleman after having dental implants

A patient from Calmore was referred to White by his dentist requesting we help to give him a comfortable lower denture. He found his denture very loose and eating was difficult. At his free consultation Dr White suggested placing 4 dental implants and a new denture that would fit securely to the implants, which would enable him to eat well with no movement. We have now completed his treatment and he says it was the best thing he has done and wished he came to us a lot sooner.

We have recently had another successful “Open Wide Day” at White. Parents brought their children along to have their faces painted, goodie bags were handed out and we also did some experiments! Amongst the fun they also had their check ups and learnt about dental care.

A lady from Bishops Waltham had orthodontic treatment at White a few years ago and after her treatment she remained a regular patient with us. Now she has straight teeth she wanted to complete her smile by having her teeth whitened for her wedding at the end of April. We have used the Zoom whitening system on her and she now has the perfect white smile for her wedding photos.

Fareham gentleman has missing teeth replaced with dental implants

A gentleman from Fareham came to White as he required dental implants. He had two missing teeth at the back on the lower right and a badly broken front tooth. The gap makes it difficult to eat and he bites his cheek a lot, but he was also concerned about the appearance of the front tooth. Dr White recommended having dental implants placed to fill the gap on the bottom right and replace the broken tooth. Very soon he will smile confidently and eat comfortably.

A lady from Ocean Village came to White for a Free Consultation in the hope that we could improve her smile for her wedding. She was unhappy with her rotated front teeth and wanted them a bit whiter. Dr White recommended she had Invisalign Anterior (Clear braces) to straighten her teeth, followed by tooth whitening. She will have a lovely white smile for her wedding.

A lady from Milton, Portsmouth, came to White for a Free Consultation to discuss what we could do about a prominent tooth on the top right. We had mentioned we could do some orthodontic treatment (braces) to straighten her teeth but she wasn’t too keen on the idea. So we discussed the option of having tooth whitening and dental veneers placed to improve the appearance of her smile. She was much happier with this option so we carried out the whitening treatment and matched 4 veneers to the new shade. She now has straighter teeth and a brighter smile.
